FIRST--> READ THE MANIFESTO ASSIGNMENT PROMPT. DO IT, NOW. THANKS. <3
For this post, we would like you to create a set of criteria for your manifesto projects. While final papers and projects often include rubrics detailing expectations, the open parameters of this project make it difficult to create a single rubric to govern each of your individual works. In order to make sure that you have a clear vision for your manifesto, we would like you to create 5 criteria based on the following loose parameters.
1. Your first criteria should establish which manifestos you will be modeling your own after. What characteristics or styles will you try and emulate? Will your manifesto be more critical or creative? Is it a combination of critical and creative works?
2. Your second criteria should set a minimum of 3 previous class assignments that you will incorporate into your manifesto. This criteria should explain how and why you're incorporating those particular assignments.
3. This criteria should establish the intentions of this manifesto. What is the purpose of this piece of writing and what should audiences gain from reading this manifesto?
4. Your fourth criteria should define how your manifesto is a call to action that disrupts a particular status quo.
5. For this criteria, you should consider how and with who you might share your manifesto. Who would it appeal to and why? What platforms or modes of communication would you use to spread it?
To determine your manifesto grades, we will review your criteria and use it as rubric, of sorts.

1. I will be modeling my manifesto after the Riot Grrrl Manifesto, A Feminist Manifesto for the 21st Century, and the W.A.G.E. WO/MANIFESTO. What I found interesting about these manifestos was that they were deliberate and straight to the point. In all honesty, I had no real idea of what a manifesto was. I was too busy thinking about the writing element that I believed a manifesto had to be an extensive essay that needed to have citations or an element of sophistication (whatever that means). However, these manifestos shocked me with their brevity and how blunt they were. In saying that, I want to emulate those characteristics. As you may have seen throughout my…

1. I'm modeling my manifesto after numerous others I've come across, such as "The future is female: the 13 tenets of Future Feminism" and "A Feminist Manifesto for the 21st Century". I want to try and emulate the numeric list style that is used in these manifestos. I want my manifesto to be a combination of both critical and creative.
2. I will incorporate my permission notes, the wanted ad, and the second podcast. The permission notes granted me with permission to do and feel certain things and I want to incorporate this into my manifesto in the sense that I want to validate these things, not only for myself, but for everyone/anyone else who needs…

1) My manifesto will be mannered as a call to action, more critical than creative. I want to present an issue and discuss why I believe it is an issue and how we can come together and work to resolve it. I will be drawing from personal experiences and what has been most shared on the television and news nowadays.
2) The very first blog post we needed to create about the Danger Of A Single Story and how it is important to be fully informed about a subject before inserting your own opinions. The second assignment I’d use are my Permission Notes. These are all things that I manifest within me that I believe…

1. My manifesto will be modeled after Larry Kramer’s speech The Tragedy of Today’s Gays and Emi Koyama’s The Transfeminist Manifesto. I also want it to read like an op-ed at a publication. I plan on it being a combination of critical and creative.
2. The three class assignments that I will incorporate into my manifesto is one my permission notes. the first podcast about feminist tools, and the annotated bibliography. One of my permission notes is about lending my voice to those who are less privileged, something that relates to my manifesto and the type of work I plan on doing as a journalist. This ties in with the podcast on tools as well, where…

1. I am loosely modeling my manifesto off of "Black Woman's Manifesto" by the Third World Women's Alliance and "Feminist Manifesto" by Mina Loy. I think my manifesto will be more creative than those, I want something that will kind of draw the reader in a bit more. but I liked how black woman's manifesto had a poem and then picked apart the poem and hoe Loy's manifest used random capitalization and bolded words to give an idea of what was really important. I want to try to do kind of the same things if I see it fit.
2. I am going to incorporate the permission notes, the body log and the annotated bibliography to…
